Kabri colony
July 14, 2025Netiv HaShayara is a moshav located in the north of the occupied Palestinian territories, near the Nahariya settlement. It was established in 1950 by immigrants from Iran and Iraq, on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of al-Ghabsiya.
The settlement was originally named Doviyah (from the Hebrew word for “abundance”) and was later renamed after the “Yehiam Convoy” (Shayaret Yehiam), which attempted to break the siege on the settlement of Yehiam during the 1948 Nakba.
As of 2022, the number of settlers in the colony was 504.
