Mefalsim colony

Mefalsim is a kibbutz located in the southern part of the so-called State of Israel, on occupied Palestinian land, near the Gaza Strip. It spans an area of approximately 11,000 dunams. The kibbutz was established in 1949.

As of 2021, the number of settlers residing there was 1,037.

The area came under the control of the Palestinian resistance during the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on October 7, 2023, as part of efforts to reclaim the land from its occupiers.
