Kfar Warburg Colony

Kfar Warburg is a large agricultural settlement (moshav) located in central occupied Palestine, near Kiryat Malakhi. It comprises 98 farms spread over an area of 6,000 dunams. Kfar Warburg was established on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of Qastina.

The moshav was founded on October 31, 1939, by members of the “Menachem” organization. It was named after Felix M. Warburg, a prominent leader of the Jewish community in the United States and a founder of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).

In the early 1950s, following a significant increase in the settlement’s population, a cultural center was built at the intersection of the town’s three main roads. It included an auditorium with 880 seats, where theatrical performances were held nearly every week.

As of 2014, the settlement had a population of 1,067 settlers.
