Huj was located about [distance missing] kilometers east of the Brir-Gaza road and 6 kilometers west of the oil pipeline between Eblat and Ashdod.
The land area of the village of Huj was approximately 21,988 dunams. Its population grew from 420 inhabitants in 1922 to 810 in 1945. In 1948, the residents were forced to leave following the destruction of the village by Jewish forces, who later established the settlements of Dorot and Giv’im on its lands.
Today, only one deteriorating concrete building remains from the village of Huj, featuring rectangular doors, windows, and a flat roof. The original use of this building is unclear, but it is currently used as a farm storage facility. Additionally, an Israeli sheep farm was established on the site.
