Ramot Menashe Colony

Ramot Menashe, meaning “Menashe Heights,” is an Israeli kibbutz located in the north of historic Palestine between Mount Carmel and the Marj ibn Amer plain. It was established by Jewish immigrants from Poland and Austria on the ruins of the Palestinian village of Sabbarin, which was destroyed in 1948. The number of settlers in Ramot Menashe was 468 in 2006.
