November 5, 2025Aviel is a moshav located in the north of the occupied Palestinian territories, south of Haifa. It was established on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of al-Sindiyana, in the Haifa district. The settlement is situated near the settlements of Zikhron Ya’akov and Binyamina–Giv’at Ada.
As of 2022, the population of settlers in Aviel was 816.
