November 5, 2025Ramot Menashe, meaning “Menashe Heights,” is an Israeli kibbutz located in the northern part of historic Palestine, between Mount Carmel and the Jezreel Valley (Marj Ibn Amer). It was established by Jewish immigrants from Poland and Austria on the ruins of the Palestinian village of Sabbarin, which was destroyed in 1948. In 2006, the settlement had a population of 468 settlers.
