In 1944, the Zionists established the settlement of Kfar Ari near the lands of the village of Khirbat Ism Allah in the Jerusalem District A Jewish settler’s shepherd family settled in the area, renovated one of the houses, and resided in it. The entire area has since been turned into grazing land for the family’s herd, which draws its water from the depopulated village’s old spring located west of the site.
