Tarum is a moshav located in central occupied Palestine, north of Beit Shemesh, covering an area of 1,800 dunams. The Tarum settlement was established in 1950 on land that belonged to the depopulated Palestinian village of Sar’a. Tarum was built near the ancient biblical city of Zorah. The founders of Tarum were immigrants from Yemen, later joined by Kurdish Jews from India. In 2022, its population was 966 settlers.
