November 2, 2025Yinon is a moshav located in the southern part of the occupied Palestinian territories, near the Kiryat Malakhi settlement. The moshav was established in 1952 as a result of the immigration of Zionists from Yemen onto land that formerly belonged to the depopulated Palestinian village of Al-Masmiyah al-Kabira. The settlement’s name is derived from a passage in the Biblical Psalms. As of 2022, the population of the settlement was 1,222 settlers.
