Giv’at Shemesh is a colony and a rehabilitation center for drug addicts located in central occupied Palestine, near Beit Shemesh.
It is situated on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of Dayr Rafat, just west of the original village site. Israeli forces seized Dayr Rafat, along with four other villages, on 17–18 July 1948. These villages had been on the front line since April 1948; most of the residents had already fled, and the few who remained were forcibly expelled.
As of 2021, the colony has 56 settlers.
