Mesilat Zion is a moshav located in central occupied Palestine, near Beit Shemesh, covering an area of 1,000 dunams. The moshav was established in 1950 on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of Bayt Mahsir.
The moshav was initially founded as a workers’ village in 1950 by Jewish immigrants from Yemen. A few years later, the original founders left, and they were replaced by Cochin Jews.
